## Settle master trades in individual investor accounts

Use the MAMX API to register MT5 accounts, manage subscriptions and reconcile performance fees from your CRM.

## How MAMX works

A master trades its own funds. Each investor keeps a separate balance. Trades appear in investor accounts only when the master closes all or part of a position.

| Account | Purpose |
| - | - |
| Master trading account | Opens and closes trades. Its funds are not a pool of investor deposits. |
| Investor trading account | Holds the investor's own funds. Manual trading is disabled. |
| Master payment account | Receives confirmed performance fees. It is not the master trading account and cannot be subscribed as an investor. |

An MT5 account is not automatically a leader or a subscription. First register the trading accounts, then create a leader profile, then create an allocation linking the two logins. MAMX does not support cascades, cross-currency allocation or using the same account as both leader and follower.
